Amid these uncertain times around the world, Út Trinh welcomed a very special group of guests — a Jewish (Israeli) family of 22 members spanning three generations. They didn’t come to Vietnam just for tourism, but to escape the war. It was a long and difficult journey for them to make it to Vietnam — it was not easy at all...!

They shared that in Israel, children cannot go to school, cannot run and play outside, and cannot laugh freely… because they are constantly living in fear of bombs, sirens, and sleepless nights.

The whole extended family joined Út Trinh in the kitchen to cook together
And then they chose Vietnam — a country they believe is captivating, friendly, and safe.
When they arrived at Út Trinh Homestay, what touched them the most was not the amenities… but the peace and tranquility.

In the peaceful setting, the family enjoyed Đờn Ca Tài Tử, a traditional musical art form unique to the people of Southern Vietnam.
In the morning, the children ran freely around the garden, their laughter echoing among Út Trinh’s lush green trees.
In the afternoon, the whole family gathered to prepare a meal together.
In the evening, they enjoyed and shared Đờn Ca Tài Tử under the soft glow of oil lamps.
She said it had been a long time since her family had such a peaceful and joyful moment together. They told Út:
“Here… we truly feel that our children are finally able to live the way children are meant to.”
They plan to stay in Vietnam for a month, and if the war has not ended… they may stay even longer.

Hope the war will end soon so everyone can return to a stable and peaceful life.
Watch the very touching sharing from the grandmother at the end of the clip!
