Vinh Long Van Thanh Temple – A place preserving the spirit of learning in Southern Vietnam.

Vinh Long Van Thanh Temple was planned by the royal court in the 14th year of the reign of Emperor Tu Duc (1862). Construction began in the winter of the Year of the Rat (1864) and was completed in the autumn of the Year of the Tiger (1866).

Vinh Long Van Thanh Temple was considered an official cultural institution of the feudal state in the past, and at the same time a monument honoring Confucianism
