Mekong Travel’s boat will welcome guests at Cái Bè Pier to start a tour of the Cái Bè Floating Market and visit traditional craft villages producing green rice flakes and sweets. Stop at Tân Phong Islet to enjoy Đờn ca tài tử music in the garden-style countryside and taste the local fruits of the islet. Next, guests will row through small canals under the shade of twin rows of weeping willows along the riverbanks.
Return to the main boat and enjoy lunch on board while feeling the cool breezes and admiring the peaceful riverside scenery as the boat gently drifts along Cái Thia Canal.
Go ashore at Bà Năm’s house to watch her craft traditional rice paper, take part in the process, taste the freshly made products, enjoy tea, and chat with Bà Năm, who has nearly 70 years of experience in rice paper making.
Next, embark on a 4 km cycling journey through orchards of Hòa Lộc mangoes, longan, jackfruit, guava, and more. Pause at Cô 9’s house, where guests can try making bánh tiêu—shaping the dough into creative forms, frying it, and enjoying it hot right from the pan. Continue cycling 2–4 km back to the boat, which then heads toward An Bình Islet.
Stop at Út Trinh Homestay to explore seasonal fruit gardens and enjoy the fresh, cool air. Join traditional activities such as catching fish in canals and river bathing (life jackets provided).
After saying goodbye to the host family, continue by boat to a brick and pottery kiln to watch traditional handmade ceramics in action. Finally, the boat returns to Vĩnh Long city tourist pier, concluding the tour. See you next time!
