After dinner, Ms. Út Trinh escorted the group of German journalists ashore and led them on a walk to visit Công Thần Miếu (Đình Khao). There, they paid their respects and offered incense to the Thành Hoàng Bổn Cảnh, the guardian deity of the local community.

The group then enjoyed an excerpt from the traditional Hát Bội performance “Câu Thơ Dũng Tướng” (“The Brave General’s Poem”), a play inspired by the famous poem written by the great military commander Thái Úy Lý Thường Kiệt during the period when Empress Dowager Ỷ Lan served as regent. The performance highlighted a significant chapter of Vietnamese history, celebrating patriotism, courage, and the nation's determination to defend its sovereignty.

After the performance excerpt, the guests had the opportunity to interact with the Hát Bội artists and Meritorious Artist (Nghệ nhân Ưu tú) Vũ Linh Tâm, who was selected to perform in the United States at the 2007 Smithsonian Folklife Festival. That year's theme, “Mekong – A River Connecting Cultures,” celebrated the rich cultural heritage of the Mekong region and its role in linking diverse communities and traditions
